I’ve spent over ten years weaving beauty into the world through floristry. From intimate weddings to grand events, I’ve always tried to create arrangements that tell stories of love, loss, and the quiet magic that can be found in the unexpected. After the Palisades Fire destroyed my beloved shop, I was left to rebuild from the ashes. But that loss only fueled my passion for flowers and leading me to create Root + Petal, a fresh start where I suddenly had the freedom to be as creative and weird as I want to be.

My work is inspired by the textures that speak of forgotten lore, the eerie allure of folk horror, the vivid intensity of giallo films, and the strange and unusual. I’m captivated by the raw, the imperfect, and the mysterious. I find beauty in the shadows, in the quiet moments where the extraordinary slips into the everyday.

Root + Petal is more than a studio to me, it’s a journey into a world where flowers bloom in the unlikeliest of places, and where magic lingers in the air. A celebration of the duality of life, the light and darkness. If it’s a bespoke bouquet, or a wildflower event, or a gnarled and twisted but delicate wreath, each arrangement I create is a piece of my heart crafted to bring whimsy, wonder, and a touch of mystery into your world.
